This is an ignorant posting because I haven't read James' blog. I just looked at the pix 'cause Lenny said there were ex girlfriend nekkid shots. Well done James! Beautiful photos. Genius. You made me look.
Thanks for the kind words. There are 11 in the series; I'm still waiting on permission from 4 women to post their photos (the good news being, I guess, that they are least took my phone calls after all this time!)
I hope to see you at Lenny's gallery talk for Seven on Sunday.
You're the best. Thanks for reading. The photos reflect your good taste and artistic sensibility. I hope the ladies were as lovely as you made them look. I might go on Sunday. I have one of those family things. I'll check the time. xo, Marsha
I have always been an artist. Artistic talent runs in my mother's family. My aunt and two of my cousins are painters. I studied at American University in the 70's and at University of New Mexico. In '77, I moved to St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. I lived there on and off for 22 years. In '99 I attended the Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy to study classical realism. My 17 year old daughter, Samantha, and I moved back to DC 5 years ago. I grew up in Silver Spring and Bethesda, and we have a lot of family here. In May, we relocated to Mt. Rainier, MD to reside in the artists lofts.
